About Dek Hockey Beau-Château.
A league for players, by players. We’ve played at the Sportplex in Châteauguay since 2023; today, the league welcomes men, women, coed teams and young players.
Our story.
The league was announced in February 2023. The first dekhockey games were played in May 2023, on the rinks at the Sportplex in Châteauguay.
Since then, we’ve added one offering at a time. Today, the league has men, women, coed teams and young players on the rink.
Later on, the league merged with Dek Hockey St-Étienne, in Saint-Étienne-de-Beauharnois.

The founders.
Founded in 2023 by Vincent, Louis-Philippe and Marc, Dek Hockey Beau-Château grew out of a shared passion for the sport and a drive to offer a dek hockey experience that lives up to what players expect. All three have been on the rinks for more than 10 years and have won championships in several different leagues, so they know the sport from the competitive side as well as the organizing side. Together, they put their experience, their passion and their energy into growing the community and offering the best possible experience, season after season.

Vincent Prud’homme
A defenceman known for his shutdown style, Vincent is the kind of player who makes the best opposing forwards think twice before venturing into his zone. With his long reach, he cuts passing lanes, blocks shots and makes life hard for anyone who dares to come near his territory. Off the rink, he’s also a go-to person thanks to his deep involvement in the league.

Louis-Philippe Daoust
A goalie with flawless technique, Louis-Philippe is known for always being square to the shooter. After making the jump from ice hockey to dek hockey, he adapted his game and established himself as a formidable goalie. Behind the scenes, he’s also the scheduling mastermind and a go-to person for players.

Marc-André Vinet
A dek hockey player for more than 10 years, Marc saw the early days of the sport, back when a simple ball cap counted as protection! Known for his steady work and his commitment on the rink, he thrives on competition as much as on growing the community. He also acts as the link with players, listening to their comments, their ideas and their needs to make the experience better for everyone.
