Privacy policy.

What the website collects about you, why, and how you stay in control.

Updated November 2, 2026. If this version differs from the French version, the French version prevails.

The person in charge

Louis-Philippe Daoust, co-founder of the league, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information.

For a question, a request or a complaint, email him at dekhockeybeauchateau@gmail.com.

The contact form

When you write to us, we receive your name, your email, your phone number if you give it, the subject, your message and the page you write from.

This information is used only to reply to you. It reaches us by email, sent by our email delivery provider, Resend.

Visit measurement

The website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to see which pages are viewed and how people move around the site.

If you click “Accept”, measurement cookies are placed on your device. If you decline, or until you make a choice, no measurement cookies are placed.

Even without cookies, Google may receive basic technical data about the visit, such as the page viewed, the referring page and the type of device, with no identifier stored on your device.

If you accept, the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) also loads, to measure the effect of our ads. If you decline, it doesn’t load.

You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage my cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

The map on the Contact page

The Contact page shows a Google Maps map to find the Sportplex. It comes from Google, which may set its own cookies and receive your IP address when the map loads.

To avoid this, you can use the address and the directions link written next to the map. Google’s practices are described in its own privacy policy.

Where your visit comes from

When you arrive, the website keeps in your browser where you came from: the website, search engine or ad that brought you here, and the first page you viewed.

If you write to us through the form, this information is attached to your message, so we know how you found us. It contains neither your name nor your email, and it is erased after 90 days.

Your player card

The photo and text you put in the player card tool stay in your browser: nothing is sent to the league.

If you choose to share your card, it is sent to the app or social network you choose, under that service’s own rules.

Registration and the Player Zone

Registration, payment, the schedule and the Player Zone are handled on the league’s portal, provided by Shark Media. Among other things, the portal collects your email or cell number for your player account.

The league remains responsible for the information you entrust to it through this portal.
